MORE ABOUT THE CLUB
At AMO, we believe that collective care is a powerful tool in building a community where everyone thrives. Our Youth, Teen & Family Community Care Club, in partnership with Evanston Community Fridges, offers a youth-centered opportunity for younger members of our community to participate in mutual aid, build confidence through collective action. & forge foundational skills while responding to real, documented community need.
Youth Action Incubator: We believe our youth aren't just the future—they are community leaders right now. This club also serves as an incubator and is a space where kids and teens can develop their own community care projects with our mentorship. From organizing a local drive to dreaming up a creative fundraiser, we will provide the tools, space and support to turn their ideas into action. At AMO, we aim to empower the next generation to practice mutual aid and community care in an inclusive, safe & supportive space that celebrates every individual for exactly who they are.
Calling all Scout troops, youth groups, youth orgs and community-minded kids! We’d love to work together to create even more opportunities for our young people to get involved in local mutual aid, community care and helping their community. Reach out and let's build something great together!
